The excursion to Nieuwe Kooi leads to a freshwater area in a mixed forest, where plants, insects and animals can be found throughout the year. A guided excursion across the tidal flats lasts one and a half hours, is suitable for adults and children aged eight and over, and starts at De Lepelaar nature education centre; wellington boots are provided free of charge.
