The Cultureel Podium Makkum provides cultural variety with music, cabaret and small-scale performance events, workshops and interesting presentations. The season runs from September through and including June. The former Koninklijke Tichelaar factory in Makkum is also part of the town’s history. It is no longer accessible because the company has moved, but its façade is worth seeing.
