The Roelof-Schuiling hike starts and ends at the Roelof-Schuiling monument at the Brink-Kruisstraat junction in Annen. In the Annermoeras nature reserve, a walking path follows the winding banks of the centuries-old Hunze.

Hunebed, cycling route and local history

Hunebed D9 is listed on the 37-kilometre Drentsche Aa cycling route, which is described as accessible; the hunebed lies in the built-up area, right in the centre of Annen.
