Obzovica’s beech forests were proposed for protection as a landscape of special natural features, although formal designation required a separate legal procedure.

Geographical Setting

Near Obzovica are Kosmač, Manastir Duljevo, Mali Siljevik, and Kosmata Glavica. The surrounding area of Obzovica includes Lašorska Pećina, Praskvica, Praskoica, and Lipska Pećina.

Landscape

Obzovica is located next to or near the Cetinje–Budva road. Historic crossroads ran through the settlement towards Konak and Lovćen, connecting the hinterland of Cetinje with the side leading towards the coast.

Obzovica has three local water sources, including the Studenac spring, as well as older water infrastructure with livestock watering troughs near Obzovičko Ždrijelo. Historically, Obzovica was used as mountain pasture; this use included livestock enclosures, winter pasture, and watering places for herds.

Culture

The village church in Krivosud was built in 1904. According to reports, the gatherings held there on Vasiljevdan attracted up to 1,500 people before the last war.
