Šiluva is home to the 44-metre-high Apsireiškimo Chapel.
Culture
The present-day Apsireiškimo Chapel was completed between 1922 and 1924 and consecrated on 8 September 1924. It is the only completed monumental building by the architect and sculptor Antanas Vivulskis that has survived to this day.
The history of Šiluva’s buildings also includes the present-day brick Basilica of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a late Baroque basilica and was consecrated on 8 September 1786. The image of the Virgin Mary housed in the basilica was solemnly crowned on 8 September 1786.
The museum displays the unique infula vestments, the only ones of their kind in Lithuania.

Routes
The Way of the Cross through the Šiluva Forest is 2.5 km long and leads to the Apsireiškimo Chapel. The 21-km Šiaulės kalnas–Šiluva pilgrimage route runs partly through Tytuvėnai Regional Park.

The Pilgrim Information Centre is located at Jurgaičio g. 17 in Šiluva. The Šilinės Festival of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary takes place from 8 to 15 September.
