The relief of Tume Parish is shaped by the meeting of the North Kurzeme and East Kurzeme upland ridges. The ancient valley of the Slocene lies between them. The largest lakes in Tume Parish include Lake Seklis, Lake Jumpravas and Lake Sivēnu. Lake Seklis covers 34 hectares. Forests line the northern edge of Tume Parish; Tumes meži also contains extensive stands of stag's-horn clubmoss. The forests are also an important area for protecting the priority boreal habitat of European importance.

The journey from the direction of Tukums also has its own distinctive landscape character: the roads from Tukums lead uphill in Tume Parish and offer scenic views.

The nature trail at the “Sveikuļi” campsite is approximately 3 kilometres long. On the “Sveikuļi” nature trail, you can see beaver lodges at Lake Veļezers, steep banks described as micro-alpine landscapes, and Lake Jumpravas. The cultural centre was the first of its size in the surrounding area. Tume's mixed choir received a gold diploma at a choir competition in Gdańsk, achieving international success. A concert celebrating the choir's 30th anniversary was also held at the Tumes Kultūras nams.

For historical discoveries, the Jaunmoku Palace and Vecmoku Muiža are worth visiting. The Jaunmoku Palace was built around 1901 as a hunting lodge and summer residence. In the Forestry Museum, a special exhibition presents forests, living nature and the everyday lives of forestry workers over a period of one century. The castle museum offers tours accompanied by a castle lady.

Vecmoku Muiža is mentioned in historical sources as early as 1544. The preserved ruins of the manor house and several outbuildings can still be visited. Vecmoku Park is also home to an avenue approximately 1 kilometre long, considered the longest Dutch lime-tree avenue in Latvia.
