Another historical connection is with Baumaņu Kārlis: from 1856 to 1858, he worked at Ķirbižu Manor as a tutor and was the author of the Latvian national anthem “Dievs, svētī Latviju”.

The historical significance of the manor complex and the exhibition at the Forest Museum should therefore be considered separately.
