The Rocca Pisana was designed by Vincenzo Scamozzi in 1576 in the Palladian style. It stands on a hill and has a harmonious relationship with the surrounding nature. At this site, architectural design and landscape form a shared spatial context.

Villa Pisani Bonetti in Bagnolo was built between 1544 and 1545; its design can be traced back to Andrea Palladio as early as 1541. Palazzo Pisani was commissioned by the Pisani brothers and erected in 1556 on existing structures.

Chiesa Vecchia and Parco Ippodromo in the town

The façade of the Chiesa Vecchia was completely rebuilt in 1543 and later extended at the beginning of the 17th century and during the first half of the 18th century. The church has an 18th-century bell tower; its peal of nine bells was restored in 1988/89. It also preserves its Baroque altars intact and in their original locations.

In Lonigo, Parco Ippodromo is a protected green space covering approximately 44,000 square meters. Its playground is also accessible to people with disabilities via Via Cesare Battisti. The Fiera thus complements the local architectural history with a connection to regional traditions.

Villa San Fermo and Fiera di Lonigo

Villa San Fermo is located on a hill in the municipality of Lonigo, about 500 meters from the town center. After a short climb, you reach the entrance to the villa. Its history dates back to the 10th century, when a community of Benedictine monks from San Benedetto di Polirone near Mantua settled there and established an abbey and the church of San Fermo e Rustico.
