The Parco della Rimembranza lies on a volcanic hill that rises as the only elevation from the surrounding plain, which extends over many hectares. Its ring-shaped layout is enclosed by a belt of buildings. The park is also located where a castle and a borgo with concentric defensive walls once stood. The park’s location thus combines a clearly pronounced landform with a historically shaped area of settlement.

The circular route along the Torrente Alpone

The “Lungo il torrente Alpone tra campagna e storia” circular route begins at the Abbazia di Villanova. It follows a combined cycle and pedestrian path along the banks of the Torrente Alpone. Getting to San Bonifacio by train and car

San Bonifacio can be reached via the Milan–Venice railway line, with San Bonifacio station as the destination. San Bonifacio station is therefore the specific destination of the train journey. By car, the route leads via the A4 motorway of the Autostrada Serenissima. Another connection is the Soave–San Bonifacio exit. Strada Regionale No. 11 also leads to San Bonifacio.
