Giovanni Pascoli and his sister Maria are buried in a marble ark by Leonardo Bistolfi in the Cappella di Casa Pascoli, which adjoins the house. The Casa Museo Giovanni Pascoli is located in a villa built by the Cardosi Carrara family in the mid-18th century as a country residence, which Giovanni Pascoli used as his home from 1895 to 1912. In front of the Church of San Niccolò stands a funerary monument to Giovanni Pascoli, a work by Plinio Nomellini. Maria donated the monument to Castelvecchio; in 1923, the town dedicated it to those who fell in the First World War.

The parish church was built in 1684 and rebuilt and consecrated in 1719. The former Church of San Quirico dates back to the 12th century; its ruins remain. The Church of San Niccolò in Castelvecchio Pascoli was built in 1600 and has a single-nave layout.
