Holiday apartment in Tozzaga: trails along the Noce and mountains

The 35-kilometre cycling and walking trail in Val di Sole runs along the Noce River and passes through Tozzaga. On this 35-kilometre route along the Noce, the desired distance for the day is an obvious planning factor. The 35 kilometres provide a broad framework for an active day; individual sections can be combined with breaks instead of planning the route solely as one continuous stage. Along the Noce, the trail remains closely connected to the river, while Tozzaga forms a specific point along the route. This means that longer stages are just as possible for planning the day as a shorter section by the water.

Mountains around Tozzaga

Cima Vese is a peak in the immediate surroundings of Tozzaga. Monte Pin, Cima delle Mandrie and Monte Ozol are mountains in the area around the village.

Mostizzolo–Bozzana cycling trail and the view from Ponte Stori

The Mostizzolo–Bozzana cycling trail reaches Ponte Stori. From there, Bozzana, Tozzaga and Bordiana can be seen from above. Those incorporating the cycling trail into their day can plan Ponte Stori as a place for a break and to take in the view.

Churches, castles and ruins

Castello di Cles belongs to the surroundings of Tozzaga; Castel Thun and Castello Boymont are located in the wider regional area.

The churches in Tozzaga and the castles in the surrounding area offer different focuses for a day centred on cultural themes.

The thirteenth edition of a tournament commemorating four young men who died 13 years ago took place on Tozzaga’s sports field.

Cammino del gusto: la Lec, Bozzana and Tozzaga

The Cammino del gusto in Val di Sole follows the old irrigation channel “la Lec” onwards to Bozzana, a village with trenches. On the second day, an optional detour to Tozzaga is planned to Azienda Agricola Pedergnana Ettore, where farm-produced cured meats can be sampled. In this way, the second day includes both the route to Bozzana and the optional detour to Tozzaga. For travel planning, this detour can be considered an additional element of the second day; its optional nature means that it is not a fixed part of the entire route.
