Castello Manfredonico is located in the immediate vicinity of Mussomeli on a hill overlooking the town and the surrounding valley. As an important historical landmark, it preserves its keep, courtyard and rooms that document the aristocratic life of the period. The Chiesa Madre San Ludovico combines Gothic and Baroque elements. Its three-aisled interior is decorated with stucco, polychrome marble and paintings.

The Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista originated between 1467 and the beginning of the 16th century; its construction is documented by a deed from 1558. Inside are a wooden pulpit, a pipe organ dating from 1700 and fourteen Stations of the Cross from the period between 1700 and 1800. The present church stands in the Santuario della Madonna dei Miracoli; it was built in 1700 by Dominican friars. It contains a Madonna and Child painted on stone, works by the painter Domenico Provenzani and wooden statues by Francesco Biangardi.
