Zingarello – Beach and Cliffs

Coast between Sand and Cliffs

Zingarello includes a coastal plain on marine terraces. Zingarello-Cipolluzze is a recently developed, established coastal residential settlement with a seasonal tourism character. Zingarello has a clay cliff coast. The coastal plain contrasts with the clay cliff coast as a different type of terrain.

Beaches and Coves by the Sea

Spiaggia di Zingarello has fine, golden-colored sand. A limestone cliff rises behind the beach. Drasy Beach is located near Zingarello; San Leone Beach and Spiaggia Marina di Palma are in the surrounding area. Coastal features include the Bay of Zingarello and the coves of Cannatello. For 2025, a walkway is listed at Spiaggia Zingarello.

Paths to Punta Bianca

The Monte Grande, Cala Vicinzina and Marina di Palma area is suitable for outdoor activities, hiking, trekking and walks. From Spiaggia di Zingarello, you can continue along the coast to Punta Bianca. To reach Punta Bianca, follow the signs to Zingarello and Punta Bianca. Before the SS115, a barely visible sign on the right points to a rough gravel road leading to the beach. It is recommended to park at Bevaio and continue on foot for about 15 minutes. The sign on the SS115 concerns orientation for the access route, while the rough gravel road is the subsequent road section. The approximately 15-minute walk begins at Bevaio. A break at Bevaio can therefore take place between the access route and the walking path, without the approximate duration being attributed to the entire coastal path. The signs to Zingarello and Punta Bianca provide orientation toward the destination; the barely visible sign before the SS115 points to the turnoff. The access via Bevaio and the coastal path from Spiaggia di Zingarello should therefore be planned as separate parts of the same excursion. The short walking section and the coastal section have different starting points. The gravel road and the walking path therefore do not form a single uniform surface; the coastal path connects as a further section and leads along the coast to Punta Bianca.
