There are around ten nuraghi in the Banari area, including examples made of red and white stone. In the surrounding area, the Santa Maria festival takes place around 8 September. It lasts two days and includes processions and celebrations in the church square. Santa Maria di Cea is also nearby, a Romanesque complex made of hewn limestone blocks with a bell gable.
