Outside, the appearance is defined by a strictly neoclassical façade and two symmetrical bell towers.

The Museo Casa Deriu is housed in a historic residence built in the 18th century and offers an insight into 19th-century Sardinian society. Upstairs, a historic exhibition tour presents an extensive collection of 19th-century magazines and newspapers.
