Revigliasco D'asti combines a hilly landscape with a deeply rooted local culture. The village stretches across three spurs that slope down towards the Tanaro plain and are separated by two narrow, deep valleys. Vineyards, hazelnut groves, orchards, fallow land and woodland alternate across the hills.

Bricco Novara can be reached from the village centre via Via Ripasso. From the village centre, Bricco Salairolo can be reached via Via San Sebastiano and Strada Arditi. The “Bric & bike” route is 18 km long and can be explored on foot, by mountain bike or by e-bike.

Churches, chapels and historic buildings

The local culture includes the parish church of San Martino, built between 1730 and 1750 in the simple Piedmontese Baroque style. It is dedicated to San Martino and has Sant'Anna as its patron saint. A tomb visible next to the presbytery contains the mortal remains of Marchese Francesco Amedeo Enrico Roero San Severino, who died in 1766. The chapel of San Rocco probably dates back to the 17th century, although today it appears as a reconstruction from the beginning of the 20th century.

The Palazzo Comunale was built in 1858–59 based on a design by the surveyor Rocco Porcio. Its central hall is modelled on the ballrooms of 18th-century castles and features elaborate ceiling paintings with medallions of Vittorio Alfieri, Silvio Pellico, Camillo Benso di Cavour and Alessandro Manzoni. The ancient Via dei Gatti, now Via Trento, partly preserves the traditional urban character of the historic village centre. The house at Via Roma 12 is considered to be the place where Vittorio Alfieri spent his first year of life in 1749 with a local wet nurse.

Barbera, cherries and Piedmontese specialities

Revigliasco D'asti can also be experienced through its produce and festivals: Barbera d'Asti is produced here. The cherry-growing tradition is celebrated by a cherry festival held on the first Sunday in June, where the local Graffioni and Mora di Revigliasco varieties are presented. The festival in honour of San Rocco on 16 August includes a procession, a blessing and the distribution of “pani di San Rocco”. Suitable habitats for white truffles (Tuber magnatum Pico) can also be found here; at night, truffle hunters roam the area in search of them.

The municipal sports facilities at the end of Via Ripasso in the Lumello valley (Valle della Vandera) include a football pitch and a tamburello court. The playground in Piazza Garons has free, step-free access. The Cimitero di Revigliasco d'Asti also offers free, step-free access; the municipality provides information about opening hours.
