The Strada della Forra was officially inaugurated on 18 May 1913. Today, it can be travelled by bicycle or explored on foot. From the first tunnel, a footpath follows the old road. This means that the famous route can be experienced from more than one perspective: depending on the planned activity, cycling or walking takes centre stage, while the course along the old road offers its own way of experiencing it.

Nature and challenging tours in the Valle di Bondo

The Valle di Bondo has been a nature reserve since 1980 and is of particular natural-historical interest. Another historical layer is represented by the Eremo di San Michele: the present building dates from the 13th century, while traces of an earlier early medieval structure can be found in the exterior walls. The Eremo stands at the junction of paths that historically connected Tremosine and Tignale with the Giudicarie Valleys.

Exceptional views and a seasonal cultural destination

The Terrazza del Brivido hangs more than 350 metres above the abyss. It was built between the 1950s and 1960s at the Hotel Paradiso. The MUST is scheduled to be open seasonally from 1 July to 15 September; this includes Friday to Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In seven rooms, the MUST presents the history of Tremosine sul Garda, its territory and the events of the war.

Formagella and kitesurfing as further facets

Formagella di Tremosine sul Garda is produced on the plateau of Tremosine sul Garda, in the heart of the park, where grey Alpine cows graze freely.
