From the Temù cable-car parking area, you can reach it either by cable car to Roccolo Ventura or on foot via the Mezzullo–Roccolo Ventura gravel road. From Temù, the Val d’Avio can be reached via an approximately 5 km route accessible by car as far as Malga Caldea at 1,508 m. There is a car park with around 10 spaces and a fountain on the road to the Val d’Avio in Località Predazzo.

For longer tours, after the complete descent through the Valle dell’Avio, stage SI D29S of the Sentiero Italia crosses the Oglio River and climbs up to the centre of Temù. In winter, Temù has a ski resort with 4 chairlifts and 8 runs of varying difficulty, connected to the rest of the ski area. At the Palaghiaccio, you can go ice skating from October to April; FISG instructors run courses there for beginners and for skaters starting out in competitive sport.

The warmer season also has its own highlights: the Roccolo Ventura chairlift operates in summer and is equipped with hooks for transporting mountain bikes uphill. The Pontedilegno-Tonale Bike Park extends across Passo Tonale, Ponte di Legno and Temù and includes 6 trails.
