The Sanctuary of Madonna della Neve in Gandizzano preserves a fresco cycle depicting the Passion of Christ, dated 1539. The Church of Sant’Antonio Abate contains a fresco depicting Saint Anthony with two small bells attached to his staff.

Churches in Maspiano and Curetto

The Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo in Curetto is owned by the municipality and used as an auditorium. The present-day Church of San Giacomo in Maspiano was created by rebuilding a building from the mid-18th century that had already been documented in 1567. Its altar is made of black marble and features inlaid floral elements and arabesques.

Paths, olive groves and excursions

Along the Tassano–Dosso section, the path passes through small vineyards and extensive olive groves on the Sebino. The path also crosses the Mesagolo stream over a small Roman bridge. The Sale Marasino information point provides information about excursions, cycle paths and trekking routes in the surrounding area. It is located near the landing stage from which boats depart for Monte Isola Carzano.

Festivals with markets and tradition

At the patronal feast of Saint Anthony the Abbot on 17 January, young people and youths ring the church bells throughout the afternoon. The “Sale in Zucca” festival includes a market featuring typical products; it also includes a national pumpkin-weighing competition.
