The museum preserves an iron hammer with its waterwheel, as well as another wheel that once powered a cutting machine.

The approximately 3 km-long “La Valle delle Fucine” route can be walked in conjunction with a visit to the museum. Along the route, remains of further ironworking structures can be seen, including Fucina Noe and Fucina Boche. Above Auro (Casto) also stands the Santuario Madonna della Neve, built in the mid-16th century.
