A prominent historical landmark is Torre Camozzi. It is the only surviving evidence of a fortified courtyard complex that was demolished in 1908 to make way for the construction of Dalmine’s industrial facilities. Another historical reminder is the air-raid shelter in the Garbagni workers’ district. It was built in 1943 and had space for approximately 500 people. The shelter is also part of the history of the Garbagni workers’ district, while Torre Camozzi is connected to the former fortified courtyard complex. The historical span therefore extends from the courtyard complex demolished in 1908 to the air-raid shelter built in 1943.

Library, Nativity Scenes and Palaces Nearby

The town’s collections also have their own particular focus. The Biblioteca Dall’Ovo preserves the book and documentary heritage of the Bava, Dall’Ovo, De Chaurand and Poletti families. The displays at the Museo del Presepio di Dalmine contain nativity scenes from various countries and regions. In the vicinity of Dalmine is the Associazione Archivio e Biblioteca Dall'Ovo, a museum. Frizzoni Palace and Medalogo - Albani Palace are located near Dalmine and are palaces. The two palaces broaden the perspective on historical architecture, while the library and nativity-scene museum remain focused on books, documents and displays.

Cycle and Walking Paths and the Velodromo Comunale
