There was a church dedicated to Saint Martin in Carvico by 1179 at the latest. The Chiesa di San Martino is located at Via San Martino 57 in Carvico.

The small Chiesina di Santa Maria del Campo is located in the centre of Carvico and had already been built by the end of the 13th century. The original church, Chiesa della Visitazione di Maria Santissima, was built in the 12th century. It can be reached via a staircase and stands on higher ground above the square in front of it.

The Museo Alpino in Carvico was inaugurated in June 2012. The date of its inauguration places the museum within the town’s more recent history. Together with the churches and San Tomè, the cultural range therefore extends from medieval religious buildings to a more recent museum.
