Hiking Trails between Village, Forest and Elevation Gain

For active days, the Ellera–Bric Beia–Ellera loop is 10 kilometres long and has 500 metres of elevation gain. Another route runs from Ellera via Santa Maddalena and back to Ellera. It passes through terraced cultivation areas, by rural buildings and through Mediterranean woodland, then reaches Santa Maria Maddalena.

Santa Maria Maddalena in Ellera stands on a rocky outcrop above the Sansobbia stream. As a result, this section has its own distinct landscape and architectural focus in addition to the route itself.
