Sebastiano and S. Rocco, attributed to Domenico Gar. The Chiesa S. Pietro Apostolo also preserves a 15th-century triptych that was recently reassembled and restored. Several periods can therefore be seen in one specific place, from medieval church architecture to later artistic furnishings.

Historical structures can also be directly connected with the townscape outside the church. Sections of the town wall built in 1485 are still preserved in Montemarcello, and its course remains clearly recognisable. The urban layout features streets running at right angles, reminiscent of a Roman military camp, a “castrum”. The Villa Romana di Bocca di Magra, an ancient site, is also located in the vicinity of Monte Marcello.
