Misano Adriatico
Accommodation in Misano Adriatico
Misano Adriatico combines days at the beach with trails through river landscapes, hills, maritime impressions and a vibrant local history. Those looking for a holiday apartment for a varied stay can focus on the sea, nature, culture or motorsport. The different experiences give your trip planning a clear direction without making every day look the same.
Beach, promenade and Portoverde
At Misano Adriatico beach, you can combine beach tennis, beach volleyball and swimming. The seafront promenade runs along the beach and invites you to take evening walks. Portoverde has a particularly distinctive maritime character: the completely car-free village in Mediterranean style features white houses and blue windows. At the Darsena, you will find venues for aperitifs, restaurants and shops; equipped beaches are also part of the local scenery.
From Portoverde, the EcoVia del Conca begins by the sea and follows the Conca River towards the hills. The MISANODAMARE tourist route runs along the seafront promenade from Piazzale Roma to the Portoverde marina and is divided into eight stops. The MISANODAMARE app presents maritime traditions and allows you to explore the municipality's historical and ecological heritage.
Trails between the Conca, fields and vineyards
For a quieter side of Misano Adriatico, the countryside offers several different impressions. The EcoVia delle Colline runs alongside fields and vineyards and opens up views of the sea. The Oasi del Conca forms a green corridor leading from Misano towards the hills of the hinterland. Its paved paths are used by mountain bikers as well as families with children on foot. The Parco Mare-Nord is also located along the EcoVia del Mare and is suitable for shady breaks and picnics beneath the pine trees.
These differences can help you choose the right starting point for your holiday apartment: do you prefer the beach and evening walks, or would you also like to include river landscapes, vineyards and trails into the hinterland in your outings? The decision mainly concerns the rhythm you want for your days.
History, festivals and special experiences
An important historical landmark is the Pieve dei SS Biagio ed Erasmo. It was built in 997 at a place called “Monte della Pieve”, today’s Misano Monte. At the Palio del Capitano di Castello, falconry, historical games, flag throwers, drummers, armed participants and dancers are part of the festivities. For one evening, Piazza della Repubblica is transformed into a medieval village. The Festa dell’Agina is a traditional local celebration.
Recent event dates also demonstrate the town’s cultural range: in 2025, the Festa della Segavecchia reached its 37th edition in Misano Adriatico. The traditional celebration lasted two days and included a funfair, exhibitions, markets, performances and street food. The Misano Piano Festival reached its 34th edition in 2026. Such dates may be of interest when planning your trip if you would like to combine your stay with a local festival or cultural event.
Motorsport and experiences with children
Misano Adriatico also has a strong motorsport side. Arena 58 is a track on unpaved ground located less than 100 metres from the sea. It was initially used as a speedway track and later as a flat-track circuit. The Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” was established in 1972 and has hosted major events for two- and four-wheeled vehicles for many years.
For children, Pony Experience offers the opportunity to observe free-roaming horses up close, interact with them and enjoy a short pony ride. This adds a special encounter to active days at the beach and in nature.
