The three-storey bell tower of the Chiesa Matrice Maria SS. Assunta also tells of a long construction period: work began between 1720 and 1747, and it was completed in 1800. The Chiesa dell’Annunziata was rebuilt at the end of the 16th century on a medieval structure.

One of the distinctive details of the townscape is Porta Rande, also known as Porta Nuova. An inscription there commemorates the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 1631.
