Those planning their own trip to Koppányszántó may consider renting a holiday apartment there.
Culture
The Szent Bertalan-apostol Templom is a simple Neoclassical building dating from 1753, with a projecting section on the side and a bell tower at the main entrance.
The present-day Szent Bertalan-apostol Templom was built in 1753 and extended with a side aisle in 1908. It is dedicated to one of the twelve Apostles and surrounded by loosely arranged deciduous trees.
The Szentháromság-mozaikkép depicts the Holy Trinity on a broad stone-built column. The mosaic is surrounded by a landscaped public square with formal plantings.
History
The Kammerer Ernő síremléke is a small, building-like tomb in the style of organic architecture. It was erected in 1920 to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Ernő Kammerer, the first director of the Szépművészeti Múzeum.
Nature
The Koppány-menti rétek (HUDD20028) are a nature reserve of particular importance. The Koppánymenti rétek border Koppányszántó to the southeast.
The Koppánymenti rétek are home to Eurasian otters, European pond turtles, Danube crested newts and fire-bellied toads; black alders and European ash trees also grow there.
