The approximately 3.5-hectare Bári-tó lies in the picturesque surroundings of the road between Kisbárapáti and Fiad, about 1 kilometre from the road. Fishing at Bári-tó with a day ticket is possible daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fish species that can be caught there include carp, grass carp, Prussian carp, various whitefish, catfish, largemouth bass, zander and pike. Visitors can also enjoy a leisurely walk in the peaceful surroundings of Bári-tó.
In the wider surroundings of Kisbárapáti, Koppányvölgy Nature Park covers more than 16,000 hectares and was established through the cooperation of ten settlements.
Trails and Routes
The Koppányvölgyi túraút network, which passes through Kisbárapáti, is almost 100 kilometres long and includes designated rest areas and viewpoints. It can be explored on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. The Völgy kör route also passes through Kisbárapáti.
Culture
The Nagy Szent Teréz-templom is a Roman Catholic church designated as a historic monument, built around 1778 in the Baroque style. Its altarpieces were created by Dorfmeister, while the dome is decorated with frescoes by Franz Xaver Bucher.
Also listed as a monument is the memorial to those who died in the First and Second World Wars. The brick-built, gate-shaped memorial bears a plaque listing the names of local war dead.
