In Tiszaalpár, the Tiszaalpár, Földvár nature trail tells the story of the Bronze Age fortified settlement of Tiszaalpári Földvár and the way of life of people in the Bronze Age. The site is classified as a specially protected archaeological area in Bács-Kiskun; this status is based on Regulation 3/2003 (I. 25.) NKÖM. In this way, information about the Bronze Age is combined with the site’s special protected status.

Another historical presentation in Tiszaalpár is a reconstruction of an Árpád-era village, built to mark the millennium. It depicts the settlement layout discovered during local excavations. Lake Szelid is a natural oxbow lake that developed after the Ice Age from a branch of the Danube. A nature trail about blue-green algae runs along the lake. The trail is accessible on foot and by bicycle year-round; as conditions on site may change, it is advisable to check them before setting out.

The Boróka nature trail in Bugac offers a different kind of experience: it is 1,100 metres long and has information boards and interactive stations, including a forest xylophone and a play telescope. You can reach the Pásztormúzeum from the Puszta Kapuja information centre on foot via an unpaved road; the distance is about 1.5 kilometres. When planning your visit, keep both the approximate distance and the described road surface in mind.
