History

Bredeneek Castle has been restored as faithfully to the original as possible since 2004. The foundation stone for Bredeneek Castle was laid in 1830 by Hamburg merchant Conrad Donner.

One route sequence of the Schusteracht runs from Preetz via Bredeneek Castle/Lehmkuhlen to Rastorf Manor and back to Preetz.
