The Baumweg circular hiking trail offers a different route. It first passes through the spa park and follows farm tracks alongside the Wisser Bach to Niederdorf. Then it continues along farm tracks past meadows and through the forest, climbing to the observation tower on Hohe Hardt. Finally, the trail follows quiet roads through the centre of Morsbach. The two routes described therefore differ not only in their starting points: the Panoramasteig focuses on the steep ascent from the bus station, while the Baumweg takes in the stream, meadows, forest and town centre.
The Three-Tower View from Heider Berg
From Heider Berg, the panoramic view extends over Morsbach and the Wisserbach valley. The “Three-Tower View” includes the observation tower, the basilica and the Protestant bell tower.
