From Wasserfall, the path leads to the Plästerlegge waterfall: From the car park on Aurorastraße in Wasserfall, visitors can reach the waterfall on foot in about 20 minutes. The Plästerlegge is accessible exclusively on foot, and the path is unsuitable for pushchairs.

The access route includes a rest area below the waterfall and information boards about the flora and the Plästerlegge nature reserve. After longer periods of drought, the waterfall may dry up; during the summer months, the vegetation may restrict the view.
