Pastitz: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Pastitz is a designated stop on the official “In the Footsteps of Prince Malte” cycling circuit. After the route has passed Posewald, Pastitz is reached via approximately 1.5 km of cycle path along the road; the route back to Putbus runs via Darsband.

The Pastitz circular route is approximately 32 km long and is described as easy. It runs along cycle paths, unpaved forest tracks, paved village roads, cobblestones and concrete slab paths. Putbus’s tourist information describes the surrounding landscape for cycling as predominantly flat to gently hilly and suitable for inexperienced cyclists. The routes can also be used for hiking.

Schlosspark is located near Pastitz. The surrounding area of Pastitz includes the island of Rügen, Pulitz Island, Bergen, St. Marien, Muglitzer Ort, the motocross track and Ruschbrink. In the wider regional surroundings of Pastitz lies Schwedenschanze.

Culture and History

Pastitz Manor House is a cultural heritage attraction in the area and can be viewed from the outside. The official Putbus cycling route approaches the manor house via the former estate farm buildings.
