Horses at Ganschow Stud

The Ganschow Mare Parades attract several thousand visitors and take place annually over three weekends in July; you should check the specific dates with the organiser. As a family event, the parade features more than 200 horses and their handlers in a combination of breeding, sport and show. The programme includes around 20 displays. These include Germany’s largest four-in-hand quadrille, with 32 harnessed horses under the direction of Manfred Ulrich.

On the days of the Mare Parade, visitors can tour the stud’s stables from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. At Ganschow Stud, visitors can also get to know the horses under saddle or in harness and see how they were raised.
