Molbergen reveals its distinctive landscape where paths lead through moorland, heath and forest. The Dausenmoorpad is a 3-kilometre circular trail with 15 interactive and sensory stations focusing on the development and ecological significance of rare moorland landscapes. It is located in the more than 600-hectare Molberger Dose nature reserve and leads through raised bog landscape in its natural surroundings.
The landscape also includes the Dwergter Sand woodland and heath area, which covers around 2,000 hectares in the Molbergen area. The Dwergter Sand forest education and adventure trail is a circular route of around 3.5 kilometres with 17 information boards and interactive stations.
Dwergte Lake is a natural bathing lake with a water surface of 6,000 square metres and a 4,000-square-metre beach area. Toilets and a beach café are available on site.
Molbergen Bürgerpark is a family and leisure park with quiet areas as well as activity areas for play, sports and communication.
The Teufelssteine megalithic tomb in Molbergen-Bischofsbrück dates from the Neolithic Funnelbeaker culture and is dated to approximately 3400 to 2800 BC. Molbergen is also home to St. John the Baptist Church, which features Baroque furnishings. The church’s Gothic altar retable was made of sandstone in a Westphalian workshop around 1460.
The Old Village School in Ermke is a single-storey brick building dating from 1907. Its bell tower is described as a symbol of the connection between school and church.
The Molberger Meilen | Eastern Route is a circular cycling route in the Thülsfelder Talsperre recreation area.
