Nature
The Drei Seen Tour starts near Nieder-Moos at the campsite. The easy 12-kilometre hike takes around 3.5 hours and follows a circular route around Ober-Mooser See, Nieder-Mooser See and Rothenbachteich. It runs along well-maintained paths as well as forest and field paths with moderate ascents. The Vulkanradweg is also documented near this starting point at the campsite near Nieder-Moos.
Culture
The Nieder-Mooser Konzertsommer takes place in Nieder-Moos as a recurring summer concert series. The series has been running for more than 45 years and includes performances centred around the historic Oestreich organ.
