Gransee station can be reached on the RE 5 from Berlin Central Station, as well as from the direction of Stralsund and Rostock. The Stechlinsee Cycle Route connects Gransee’s old town with the NaturParkHaus Stechlin in Menz, the village of Neuglobsow on Lake Stechlin and the water town of Fürstenberg/Havel. This makes the route different from exploring the town on foot, for example by following the town wall.
