The red-brick building in the historic village centre was built in 1879 and extended in 1885 and 1907. It served as a village school for more than 100 years, before the International Bund renovated the building and reopened it as the multicultural centre “ARCHE”. Several phases of use can be traced through the building: after its construction and extensions, it spent a long period as a school, followed later by its use as a multicultural centre.
