The stone channel at Wolfsbronn illustrates this geological feature with particularly striking dimensions. It is a limestone tufa mound over which forest spring water flows into the valley. The channel is over 120 metres long and up to 1.60 metres high. Its length and height offer a tangible comparison with the two other geotopes mentioned, without implying that they are the same size.
Hiking Trails and Historic Countryside
