Geographical Location
Wackersberg is a municipality and parish village in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, near the spa town of Bad Tölz in the Isarwinkel region.
The parish village is situated on a long hill above Bad Tölz. The hill was formed during the last Ice Age and lies at the foot of the Heigelkopf, Klausenkopf, Zwiesel and Blomberg mountains.
The parish village is described as being located approximately one kilometre west of the Isar and four kilometres south of Bad Tölz.
