Neusitz: Along paths between the watershed and church art

Cycling routes between ponds and forest

Neusitz also has a direct connection to a cycling route: the Franconian Water Cycle Route runs through the village, past several ponds and then into the forest. As a circular route, it travels through Franconia. The sequence of ponds and forest gives the local stretch its own points of reference, while the route is also part of a larger cycling trail.

The nearby cycling routes also include the Altmühl Cycle Route between Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Lake Altmühl. According to tradition, it is considered older than all the churches in Rothenburg. The cautious wording is part of this historical assessment.
