The branch church of St. Margareth was consecrated in 1709. It contains a high altar with figures of Saint Margaret and Saint Nicholas, as well as a Pietà.

St. Margareth is also home to the “Mintraching Water Christ,” a Gothic Man of Sorrows figure associated with a local legend about flooding of the Isar. The figure is carried on annual pilgrimages to Altötting.

Nature

Near Mintraching, the Isar Cycle Path runs along the Isar through the Isaraue Natural Forest between Munich and Landshut. It continues northwards through the natural forest towards Moosburg.

The Isaraue Natural Forest near Mintraching can be accessed from St 2053. The 9-kilometre-long Alte Seebachweg connects the access point on St 2053 with the area around Ismaning and allows visitors to walk through a large part of the southern section of the natural forest.
