You can also explore rafting on foot. KulturEntdeckung is a one-and-a-half-hour walking tour of Wallenfels, with 18 stops covering the history of rafting and the town’s culture. A route brochure is available at the information board. Flößerwegla takes a different approach: its 28 stops use images, text, audio files and short video clips to share information about rafting, local traditions and the people of the town. This gives you a choice between a tour with a specified duration and a trail featuring a range of media formats.
Hiking, Cycling and Kneipp Themes
The Lamitz Trail is a 5.8 km, moderately difficult circular route with information boards in the renaturalised Lamitz Valley.
