Ainringer Moos lies between Ainring and Thundorf, at the foot of the Högl and along the old Roman and Salt Route. After being used for industrial purposes, it was renaturalised in 2003. The moor provides a habitat for animal and plant species, including some that are extremely rare.

The two circular trails differ considerably in length and estimated walking time. The Kleine Moos-Rundweg is 3.26 kilometres long and takes about 50 minutes on foot. The Große Moos-Rundweg is listed as 6.43 kilometres and takes about one hour and 40 minutes.
