Falkenbach is connected to Freyung’s official hiking trails. The 9.5 km-long Route 2 leads towards Falkenbach and onward towards Geyersberg. An alternative to Route 3 runs from Köppenreut via the Kreuzweg to Falkenbach and onward to Geyersberg.

Culture

A locally listed chapel at the address Falkenbach 19 is a building with a steep roof, a roof turret, a three-sided apse and rubble-stone masonry. It dates from 1949 and preserves older furnishings.

Falkenbach also has two listed historic bakehouses. Both are small buildings with shallow-pitched gable roofs, arched openings and rubble-stone masonry. One is dated to the first half of the 19th century, while the other is described as probably dating from this period.

Sulzberg is located near Falkenbach. Kühberg, Steinberg and Großalmeyerschloss are located in the surrounding area of Falkenbach.
