From the Teltschik Observation Tower, the view stretches across the peaks of the Odenwald and the Rhine Plain; on a clear day, you can also see the Palatinate Forest. Traces of José Rizal and Sissi
A life-size bronze statue of José Rizal stands in Rizal Park by the Odenwaldhalle. The park was inaugurated in 1978. Information boards highlight stages in the lives of Rizal and his companions. Three cross-country ski trails, 4, 5 and 10 kilometres long, start and finish at the “Am Hirschwald” hiking car park in Wilhelmsfeld. The car park can be reached via Altenbacher Straße and Alte Römerstraße. Use of the trails depends on snow conditions. In addition, three designated routes for Nordic walking and winter sports, ranging from 3.3 to 8.5 kilometres, start from the hiking car park. The tour can also begin at Potsdamer Platz in Heiligkreuzsteinach.
