The Sentier des marais is a marked 1.5 km walking trail that takes about one hour. The route is flat, accessible to everyone, and designated as a “Promenade confort”; it runs over compacted gravel or wooden boardwalks. Along the route there is a pond, seating, sports equipment, and information boards.

Nature
The Forêt domaniale de La Deysse is a wet forest covering approximately 28 hectares. The hike through the Marais d'Albens begins at the Albens cemetery car park.
Culture
The Albens area was inhabited during the Neolithic period around 3000 BC. Most of the Roman remains from Albens can be seen at the Espace Patrimoine, a small museum located in the premises of the tourist office. This Espace Patrimoine d'Albens also houses an archaeological collection.
The Church of Saint-Alban in Albens was blessed on December 8, 1869. Architect Fivel and builder Blondin from Aix-les-Bains were commissioned to construct it; the building has three naves and six bays.
The Rosset Chapel is the only surviving remnant of the former Church of Saint-Alban. The “Colonne des curés” at the former site of the Church of Saint-Alban is a Gallo-Roman relic.
