Culture and History
The parish church of Verrières-en-Forez houses the Merklin organ, which comes from the former seminary of Verrières. It is classified as a protected object; only its instrumental part is protected.
The Church of Saint-Ennemond was completely rebuilt in the 16th century and classified as a historic monument in 1938. It also has a portal pillar that is among the very rare surviving examples in the Loire department.

The Route De Verrières à Montagut PR 53 is a very easy 7.6-kilometre hike with an estimated duration of 2 hours 30 minutes and 247 metres of elevation gain.
Le Vallon de la Vidresonne PR 51 is an easy hike around Verrières-en-Forez. Along the way, you can discover the local heritage and enjoy panoramas of the Plaine du Forez and the Monts du Lyonnais.
The botanical and forestry educational trail at Abiessence uses signs and appropriate information to explain tree species and wood processing. The botanical garden at Abiessence is freely accessible and showcases plants used to produce essential oils.

The Miellerie des Monts du Forez welcomes customers to its boutique, where beekeeping activities are presented. Tours are offered during open days or by appointment between September and March. The boutique is open at weekends; a honey vending machine is available every day.
