The church of Saint-Galmier was built between 1420 and 1471 in the late Gothic Flamboyant Gothic style. Inside is the limestone “Vierge du Pilier” from the beginning of the 16th century, attributed to the sculptor Michel Colombe.
The church’s bell tower offers an exceptional view of the Forez.
At the Atelier du souffleur de verre, master glassmaker Pierre Marion welcomes visitors to a demonstration with commentary. Before their eyes, he creates unique objects.

The Balade en bord de Coise is a walking trail at the Badoit kiosk in Saint-Galmier. It runs along the Coise through wooded countryside and offers views of Saint-Galmier.
The Saint-Galmier rose garden covers 7,000 m² and is located in a quiet, natural setting near the Barou forest by the river. A small observation tower in the rose garden offers panoramic views over the garden and of the Forez mountain range.
