In La Talaudière, the Maison du Patrimoine et de la Mesure is dedicated to the exhibition “Trois siècles d’histoire de la mesure”, which presents three centuries of the history of measurement.

The Maison du Patrimoine et de la Mesure also showcases La Talaudière’s mining heritage through a miners’ house that is open to visitors. The Mines de la Chazotte played a major role in the founding and development of La Talaudière; they closed in January 1968.
